The Basketball Factory (TBF) has decided to begin a youth developmental league “TBFYDL”
Here are the major concepts:
Real Coaches: No more untrained, inexperienced coaches. No more “daddy ball”! Your kids will learn how to dribble and how to score. They will actually get the ball during the game.
Practices: The kids will have a ball for at least half of every PRACTICE. They will learn the fundamentals, they will do and repeat the fundamentals until they can exercise the fundamentals as well as they breathe. The ball will become an extension of our young basketball players.
FUN: They will have FUN as they master the instruction and they will learn to work hard and enjoy there new foundcontrol of the basketball. In an fun, less intense coaching style.
Is Basketball for me? They will be able to see do I want to spend my time in the gym, or do I just want to play recreationally? They can always play in the TBFYDL, but if they find they want to play more and more, we have year around travel basketball teams available..
